Everyone/Anyone! We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and disciplines. Your unique perspective has value, and we promise an inclusive, welcoming environment with no exclusive or elite club mentality.
Day 1: Friday, Jun 28, 2024 (6:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
- 6:00 - 7:00 PM: Check-In & Networking
- We believe in authentic relationships and that the best ones start over a few beers and good BBQ. Come hang with us even if it's just for the day, but be prepared to experience FOMO if you don't stay for the weekend.
- 7:00 - 8:00 PM: Keynote Panel
- The DoD in Your Neighborhood: Empowering Local Innovation
- Speakers: Pavan Gill; Pacific-North Regional Director (NSIN), Salvador Badillo Rios; Sr. Associate (NSIC), Rahul Singh; Regional Engagement Principal (NSIN)
- 8:00 - 8:30 PM: Problem Statements
- We will open the event with several problems we have identified, from measuring parts to handling heavy pieces of metal. Anyone in attendance can use these problems to form a team with fellow attendees. We highly suggest this.
- This session is also open to any startups in the ecosystem or small teams that may already have an idea in mind.
- 8:30 - 10:00 PM: Team Formation & Networking
- Get to know the people who want to stay the weekend to form a team and work on a problem together. You won’t be alone; Solideon staff will be floating around to support any attendee.
Day 2: Saturday, Jun 29, 2024 (8:00 AM - 12:00 AM)
- 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Team Check-In/Hacking & Networking
- 12:00 - 2:00 PM: Lunch

- 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Lunch
- 12:00 - 1:30 PM: Team Pitches
- 1:30 - 2:00 PM: Team Feedback and Closing Remarks
This event is dedicated to advancing manufacturing technologies that bolster the defense industrial base. Over the course of two exciting days, participants will collaborate to develop innovative solutions tailored to the unique challenges and requirements of the defense sector.
Kicking off with an inspiring keynote address, the hackathon will provide an environment for professionals, engineers, and enthusiasts to engage in hands-on problem-solving, prototype advanced designs, and present solutions to DoD VC firms and other industry partners.
