Woven Capital is a venture capital fund founded in 2021 that invests in growth-stage companies developing mobility, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, and smart-city technologies. The firm manages $1.6 billion in assets under management and focuses on Series B and later-stage investments, typically ranging from $10 million to $50 million per company. Woven Capital is the corporate venture arm of Woven Planet Group, a Toyota subsidiary, and leverages Toyota's global reach and expertise to support portfolio companies. George Kellerman serves as Managing Director. The fund announced Fund II with $800 million in capital targeting 20–25 new investments in Series B to late-stage companies advancing AI, automation, climate technology, and energy solutions. Since its founding, Woven Capital has invested in 18 companies and is headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; on July 1, 2025, ownership transferred from WbyT to Toyota, making Woven Capital a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota.
