The University of Bonn provides undergraduate and graduate programs across fields including mathematics, physics, law, economics, neuroscience, medical genetics, chemical biology, agriculture, Asian and Oriental studies, philosophy, and ethics, alongside PhD and habilitation degrees. It enrolls 32,500 students, including 4,000 international students, and graduates about 3,000 undergraduates and 800 PhDs annually. The institution hosts eight Clusters of Excellence, such as the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics, Matter and Light for Quantum Computing, Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies, PhenoRob for crop production research, Immune Sensory System, ECONtribute for markets and public policy, Color meets Flavor, and Our Dynamic Universe. It operates from Bonn, Germany, with the University and State Library Bonn holding over five million volumes. Membership includes the German U15 association of research-intensive universities and the Erasmus program for exchanges with over 300 European institutions, plus a Global Exchange Program with non-European partners.
