Startup · FOUNDED 2016

Realtime Robotics develops motion planning software and hardware for industrial robotics and autonomous systems. The company's core product is Resolver, a cloud-based SaaS platform for motion planning and simulation that accelerates robotic workcell design and deployment; the platform generates collision-free motion paths and optimizes cycle times for manufacturing applications. Realtime Robotics was founded by George Konidaris and Dan Sorin, both from Duke University. The company completed Part 1 of a $45 million Series B funding round in 2023, led by Mitsubishi Electric with participation from Siemens Next47 and Duke Capital Partners, raising $21.1 million in that tranche. Realtime Robotics is based in Boston.
