QuamCore develops a superconducting quantum processor architecture designed to support one million qubits within a single cryostat. The architecture integrates digital superconducting controllers using Single Flux Quantum devices directly at millikelvin temperatures alongside the qubits, reducing external cabling requirements by over 1,000 times and minimizing power dissipation. It incorporates built-in error correction for fault-tolerant operation. The company was co-founded in 2022 by Alon Cohen (CEO), with Prof. Shay Hacohen-Gourgy as CTO, Prof. Serge Rosenblum as Chief Scientist, and Prof. Eby G. Friedman as Scientific Founding Member. QuamCore raised $9 million in seed funding in March 2025 led by Viola Ventures and Earth & Beyond Ventures, followed by a $26 million Series A in August 2025 led by Sentinel Global with participation from Arkin Capital, Viola Ventures, Earth & Beyond Ventures, Surround Ventures, Rhodium, and Quantum Leap, bringing total funding to $35 million including grants from the Israel Innovation Authority. Headquarters are in Herzliya, Israel.
