Pasqal develops neutral-atom quantum processors and commercial-grade quantum computers using rubidium atoms trapped by optical tweezers lasers for precise qubit control. The company offers a software platform with SDKs, optimization libraries, middleware, Pasqal Cloud for remote access to analog processors, hybrid quantum-classical solvers, and a Quantum AI engine for machine learning applications. Customers span energy, finance, and logistics sectors including Thales for satellite constellation mission planning, Sumitomo, KAIST, BMW Group, and Capgemini with over 25 clients and 35 engagements. The technology supports dual analog-digital processing at room temperature without cryogenics, enabling scalability toward fault-tolerant systems integrated with HPC and cloud environments. Founded in 2019 as a spinoff from Institut d’Optique by Thierry Lahaye, Antoine Browaeys, Georges-Olivier Reymond, Christophe Jurczak, and Alain Aspect; current executives include CEO Dr. Wasiq Bokhari, CTO Dr. Loïc Henriet, co-founder Georges-Olivier Reymond as Chief Strategic Alliances Officer, and co-founder Antoine Browaeys as Chief Scientific Officer. Pasqal has raised more than $300 million and plans a public listing via business combination with Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp II. Headquartered in Palaiseau, France, it operates additional offices in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, Sherbrooke Canada, Boston Massachusetts USA, and Seoul South Korea.
