NextGen Ventures is a venture capital fund that provides first-cheque investments of up to $100K to early-stage startups founded by young Australian students and founders, followed by ongoing support including fundraising assistance, hiring, and mentorship. It was launched in 2023 by founding partners Mitchell Hughes and Jerry X'Lingson and has backed 12 Australian startups including Fluency, Puralink, and GrazeMate.
