Kargo develops a computer-vision system for warehouse loading docks that automates shipping and receiving by capturing data from labels, barcodes, text, images, freight condition, and dimensions, then updating existing inventory systems and flagging exceptions with visual evidence. Its product is used for appointment scheduling, driver check-in, dock door allocation, shipment verification against bills of lading, OS&D detection, and load sequencing, and the company says Armada is among its customers. The company was founded by Sam Lurye; its website says the team includes more than 30 people. Kargo says it raised a $25 million Series A led by Sozo Ventures, and its press coverage says it later raised a $42 million Series B. Kargo’s about page says it was building the first Kargo Towers on-site for a large auto facility, but the pages provided do not clearly state a headquarters city or office locations.
