Impossible Founders gGmbH is a non-profit deep-tech startup factory based in Hamburg that helps researchers turn scientific breakthroughs into scalable ventures. It runs programs such as the 6-month iF Momentum accelerator focused on lab validation, pilot design and investor readiness, primarily in green technologies, new materials, AI and data science. The organization was initiated by the Michael Otto Foundation and Joachim Herz Foundation, collaborates with University of Hamburg, Hamburg University of Technology and DESY, and received €10 million in federal funding plus additional grants totaling over €50 million.
