Heron Power develops power electronics for the electric grid and is preparing its first product, Heron Link, for scale manufacturing; the company says it is targeting utilities and grid infrastructure use cases, and early coverage notes interest from data centers, solar and battery farms, and dense EV charging sites. The company’s founder and CEO is Drew Baglino, and its site also names Johnny Gannon as head of product and Chris Tilton as director of mechanical engineering. Heron says its hardware is built with software integration and high-volume manufacturing in mind, reflecting a grid stack that is meant to be more deployable, resilient, and less costly. In 2025, Andreessen Horowitz said it was backing Heron in a Series B, and Canary Media reported the company raised $140 million; a separate company listing also places total funding at $38 million. Heron Power’s headquarters is in Scotts Valley, California.
