The Global AI Frontier Lab at New York University is a research lab focused on fundamental AI research, trustworthy and responsible AI, and AI for healthcare. It was created at NYU in collaboration with Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT through IITP to support artificial intelligence research and international collaboration between researchers at NYU and in Korea. The lab is co-directed by Kyunghyun Cho and Yann LeCun. It has hosted a seminar series linking researchers in New York and Korea, with in-person meetings at its lab space on One MetroTech in New York and participation via Zoom from Korea.
