DroneAid Collective runs drone building workshops across Europe where participants assemble FPV and interceptor drones from commercial parts for donation to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, supporting surveillance, reconnaissance, intelligence, delivery, demining, evacuation, and anti-Shahed missions. Participants including Ukrainian veterans, displaced persons, and civilians learn electronics and soldering skills during these hands-on sessions. The organization has delivered hundreds of drones to Ukraine. Founded on December 10, 2023 by Jana Roedenko in Leiden, Netherlands, it operates with a flat hierarchy of technicians, veterans, and volunteers from the Netherlands and Ukraine. Additional chapters run workshops in Germany, France, Poland, and Portugal.
