Bracket Bot
Startup · HQ San Francisco, CA

Bracket Bot produces an open-source robotics development kit featuring hardware components such as Raspberry Pi, camera, hoverboard motors, battery, speaker, and on-off switch. The kit includes pre-integrated mapping and navigation SDKs that enable Python programming at the application layer for features including SLAM, autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and human voice interactions. It supports ROS 2 via Bazel and DORA middleware for low-latency AI robotic applications. The project originated as a University of Waterloo capstone effort led by Brian Machado with team members including Jai Prajapati, Angad Bajwa, and Ivan Yevenko. Bracket Bot is headquartered in San Francisco, California, with a team of 2-10 employees.
