Aalo Atomics develops the Aalo reactor, a 50 MWe pressurized water reactor designed for factory production and serial manufacturing. The reactor is truck-transportable and targets deployment times under three years from order. The company focuses on providing dispatchable clean power for data centers and industrial off-grid applications. In April 2024, Aalo Atomics raised $13 million in seed funding from Riot Ventures, AlleyCorp, Congruent Ventures, and other investors. The founding team includes alumni from Oklo, TerraPower, X-energy, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Aalo Atomics was founded in 2023 and operates from Berkeley, California.
