A&K ROBOTICS
Startup · HQ Vancouver, British Columbia

A&K Robotics develops autonomous indoor mobility systems, including its Cruz™ self-driving pod powered by Kinesos™ AI, designed to transport passengers and goods through complex, high-traffic environments such as airports, shopping centers, and museums. The company's Autonomous Indoor Mobility (AIM) platform uses multi-sensor technology and advanced algorithms to navigate dynamically in GPS-denied indoor spaces where people and objects move frequently. A&K Robotics has deployed its systems across retail, education, transportation, and facility services sectors, working with global operators to integrate autonomous mobility into airport terminals and other large venues. The company is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, and was an alumnus of the Creative Destruction Lab's AI and Machine Learning program at the University of Toronto. In April 2026, A&K Robotics raised $8 million to expand autonomous mobility infrastructure for airports. The company received venture backing through BDC Capital's Women in Technology Venture Fund in 2017 and operates with 11–50 employees.
