Ben Nowack is the Co-Founder and CEO of Reflect Orbital, building a satellite constellation to reflect sunlight to Earth for solar power at night. The company has raised $35.2M in Series A funding from Sequoia Capital, Lux Capital, and Climate Capital. Ben previously worked at Zipline and interned at SpaceX. The first Reflect Orbital satellite unfurls an 18x18 meter reflective surface to extend solar farm operating hours. "The problem is that solar energy is not available when we actually want it," Nowack explains. "It would be really great if we could get some solar energy before the sun rises and after sunset."
