About
Carl Perez is a French-American nuclear energy entrepreneur and advocate best known as the Chief Executive Officer of Exodys Energy, a New York-based startup founded in 2022 that develops closed-loop, circular nuclear systems to recycle existing nuclear waste stockpiles into clean, abundant energy without additional uranium mining. A Babson College graduate (2015), Perez launched his nuclear journey at age 21 by co-founding Elysium Industries—a molten chloride salt fast reactor company capable of burning spent fuel—after a personal epiphany on the anniversary of the Nagasaki bombing shifted him from anti-nuclear views to championing advanced fission for climate solutions and energy equality. Through Elysium Ventures and roles in climate tech investing, he continues pushing for innovative reactors to address global energy poverty and decarbonization.
