Venture fund · HQ Berlin, Germany · FOUNDED 2021

World Fund is a European climate tech venture capital firm that backs early-stage companies building technologies for energy, food and agriculture, industry, transport, and related decarbonization markets. Its investing process centers on a Climate Performance Potential framework that evaluates whether a startup can deliver measurable annual emissions reductions at scale, and the firm says it typically invests from seed through Series B. The firm was established by Daria Saharova, Danijel Višević, Craig Douglas, and Tim Schumacher, and its website says the team includes engineers, physicists, chemists, biologists, and early- and growth-stage investors. World Fund launched in 2021 with a €350 million fund, and TechCrunch reported that the vehicle was incubated by Ecosia and backed by more than 60 investors. Its website also says it is headquartered in Berlin.
