Cantos is a pre-seed and seed-stage venture capital firm that provides first-check investments to founders building near-frontier technologies transforming the physical world. It targets startups in climate tech, computational biology, aerospace, and next-generation computing, with portfolio companies including Castelion in defense, Skyryse in aerospace, Solugen in biotech, Radiant in energy, and Atom Computing in quantum hardware. The firm was founded in 2016 by Ian Rountree as the sole General Partner.
