Deep tech has always mattered, but right now, the tailwinds are stronger and more urgent than at any point in the last 40 years. Global demand and national security priorities are converging, making this area critical to the next decade of industrial and economic growth.

​As part of NY Deep Tech Week, meet 20+ deep tech companies driving that transformation – all graduates of HAX, SOSV’s hard-tech program and the world’s most active pre-seed investor for deep tech founders. You will meet Seed and Series A companies building critical solutions with commercial traction across energy systems, industrial automation, robotics, plasma, critical minerals, and advanced chemistry. 

SOSV’s HAX provides hard-tech founders a 6-month collaborative residency, hands-on engineering support, and an initial investment package of up to $550,000. HAX has a flagship 35,000 square foot facility in Newark, with additional offices in Shenzhen, Pune and Tokyo, and expansion planned for a new facility focused on applications of plasma physics called HAX Plasma Forge in Princeton.
